Having recently completed a transfer to Dynamo Kiev, Niko Kranjcar has now decided that the time is right to launch a scathing attack on his former chairman Daniel Levy. According to Kranjcar, Levy has treated his fellow countryman Luka Modric with no respect whatsoever, after supposedly promising him a way out of White Hart Lane this summer. Continue reading

It appears as though Niko Kranjcar’s misery at Tottenham is almost over, with Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev poised to tie up a move for the former Portsmouth midfielder. It is thought that Kiev will complete the move after Kranjcar has represented Croatia in the upcoming Euro 2012 tournament.
It was only several days ago that Kranjcar revealed to Sportske Novosti that he was completely in the dark about next season, stating that he hadn’t even spoken to manager Harry Redknapp, “I don’t have any contact with my manager Harry Redknapp. When I was leaving London to head back home to Croatia, he didn’t tell me anything about next season. So I don’t really know if he is counting on me or not.”
However, Kranjcar has now revealed that he is set to leave White Hart Lane, and is set to negotiate personal terms with Dynamo Kiev after Spurs agreed a suitable financial package with the Ukrainian giants. “The two clubs have reached an agreement, there are just a few minor details to be sorted out and I am still to define my personal terms. I will let my agent handle it as I am now completely focused on playing for the national team in Euro 2012,” he said.
A move away from Tottenham would certainly suit the 27-year-old, who has been severely limited in opportunities over the past few years. Despite arriving with a blossoming reputation from Portsmouth, Kranjcar has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Tottenham line-up and has been limited to just thirty league starts since joining the club in 2009. This lack of first team action has meant that Kranjcar is no longer a regular for his national team and he faces a battle to dislodge Ivan Perisic and Ivan Rakitic to start for Croatia.
