Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said that he is proud of his players at the moment.
He believes that they are giving their best on the pitch and that he could not ask for more.
He said that they will keep pushing Chelsea until the end of the season and will take their chances if ever the leader drops some points in the future.
The manager said that each player is committed to the team and that they all want to win the title.
Mauricio Pochettino said that team had not been affected by the absence of Harry Kane as other players such as Son has risen to the occasion and help the team win important points in the title race.
The Spurs manager said that the objective of the team is to finish as high as they can in the table. Spurs made a poor start to the season after going winless in the first few matches of the campaign. However, they have now secured back-to-back victories after a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday. This was also the first home win of the season for Pochettino’s team. Summer signing Heung-Min Son, who was brought in from Bundesliga for over £ 20 million, scored the only goal of the game to open his account for Spurs.
Many expected a reaction from Crystal Palace, who came into the game after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against Manchester City in the previous game.
