MOURINHO DELIVERS LATEST INJURY UPDATE

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has delivered the injury update on his team ahead of the FA Cup third round tie at non-league club Marine this weekend. Marine will play hosts to Jose Mourinho and his players on Saturday evening with the target to cause a big upset and move to the fourth round at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur. Jose Mourinho gave an update on two of his players and their injury status ahead of the game. Jose Mourinho told reporters about the availability of Giovanni Lo Celso and Erik Lamela for the game.


Giovanni Lo Celso, Erik Lamela and Sergio Reguilon were recently fined by the North London team after they broke Covid-19 regulations by having 18 people at their Christmas party. West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini also attended the party. The three Tottenham Hotspur players incurred the wrath of both the club and Mourinho as a result of the incident that violated the regulations put in place to limit Covid-19 cases amongst Premier League clubs.

MOURINHO REVEALS BIGGEST GAME AT SPURS

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that the Carabao Cup semi-final tie with English Championship outfit Brentford is his biggest game since his appointment as the Spurs boss. Tottenham Hotspur will host Brentford in a one-off last four duel in the Carabao Cup at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night with a place in the final in April up for grabs for either of the two teams. The London Derby clash between hosts Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford is the first semi-final tie and the winner will face the winner of the Manchester Derby clash between hosts Manchester United and Manchester City in the second semi-final tie billed for the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday night.


Spur boss Jose Mourinho has been talking ahead of the Carabao Cup game with Brentford. He spoke reporters during his pre-match press conference for the Brentford game as he revealed that the Carabao Cup last four tie with Brentfordis the biggest game of his short time in North London.
