United beat Spurs to Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have announced that they have beaten Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace. The England under 21 international has joined the Red Devils on a five-year contract after the club agreed on a £50m package with the Eagles following weeks of negotiations.

He had a very good season for Palace, but he’s still very far off from becoming a proven player. Tottenham need to strengthen other parts of the pitch more urgently and Wan-Bissaka would have taken a massive wedge out of the transfer budget.”
